Making Yard Signs

We do not have the actual signs to use for yard signs; however, you can re-use old signs or buy blank signs to create yard signs in the lab.  You would then print on large sticker material or banner to place on the signs you plan to use.

First:
Find signs you can use.  Yard signs are different sizes, so measure the signs you are using to determine the size of your design.

Second:
Create your design.  We suggest using Canva.com or Microsoft Publisher so you can create a document the exact size you want to design.

Third:
Decide if you want to use sticker or banner material.  You should be able to use the 30" sticker or banner material which is $2.00 per foot.  Material is on a roll, and the printable area is approximately 28" across.

Stickers will need to be applied to the sign and it can be tricky as it could wrinkle or have bubbles.  It is helpful if you have two people apply the sticker.

Banner material, you can print two copies back to back and fold it over the sign and either staple or tape it together.  The tops of the images need to be placed together in the print management software so their placement is correct to place over the sign after printing.
