Making Fat Heads

Embarrass Your Student or Friend with a Fat Head

In order to create a fat head in the Imagine Lab, you will need to print the pictures you want to use on sticker material and then place the stickers on some type of backing such as foamboard or posterboard.  The library does not have a supply of backing boards, you will need to purchase those at another location.

Pictures should be at least 300 dpi or it may be pixelated (fuzzy) when printed.  You will also want them cropped to the area you want to use for your fat head.  If you just want the face, then crop (or trim) off any area of the picture that you do not want to print.  This is important so you don't waste material but also so you are able to get the correct picture size.

You should be able to crop photos with your phone's photo app or if you need to scan a printed photo, you should be able to use Photos on your computer to crop the file.

If you need the pictures to be a particular size, you can take the picture into Canva.com or Microsoft Publisher to create a document the size you want and then upload the photo into the software and make it fit the document size by resizing it.

If you have any questions, please email us at imagine@champaigncountylibrary.org or call 937-653-3811.

Remember, you do need an appointment to use the Imagine Lab and anyone using the lab must have their own library card and signed release form.
